Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Her mother is English half Spanish. Parents include Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The daughter is an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. Her mother is Spanish as well as English descent. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's prior marriage. The family was at Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria area of London. Taylor Joy states that the move to England was a very difficult experience. Taylor Joy was unable to master English and hoped she could move back to Argentina. Hill House, a school located in the same area as Northlands was required to enroll her. She then went to Queen's Gate School in London and took ballet classes and participated in the drama department. At 16, she left school in order to take on acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an actor began in the early years of her life. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first person to hire her as an experienced model.
