Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk, an accomplished actress, writer, director and producer. Anna Silk was the child of a Briton and an Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. At the beginning of her career, Anna appeared on several commercials for television. Anna was able to move to Toronto for her acting to grow. In the following years, she moved to Los Angeles.
