Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette was an American actress, voice and film actor. She was born on January 31, 1937 to January 19th, 2008. 1 Pleshette started her career in theatre and was first seen in films towards the end of the 1950s. Later, she made appearances in major films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). She was later seen in several television shows, usually in guest roles, and she was Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 until 1978, earning several Emmy Award nominations for her work. Pleshette was born on the 31st of January 1937 in the New York City neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, to Geraldine (nee Kaplan)[1 and Eugene Pleshette. Her parents were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was a dancer, artist and choreographer who appeared on stage under the name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage manager at the Paramount Theater, Manhattan, as well as the Paramount Theater, Brooklyn.
